CASANEO watercolour brush, round — Series 5598

CASANEO is da Vinci's answer to how soft a synthetic fibre can be. Very soft — with a surprisingly large colour reservoir. A size 10 holds plenty of water and releases it in a controlled way.

This fibre suits wet-on-wet work, long glazes without reloading and any passage intended to flow. It is an alternative for painters who find conventional synthetic fibres too firm.

For abrasive earth pigments, we recommend the firmer COSMOTOP-SPIN instead to protect the softer fibres.
